- Applications
Special Features and Benefits
- Improve the color development of pigments in agricultural production systems.
- Used for optimal dispersion of carbon materials.
- Effectively reduce the viscosity of high-concentration color pastes during grinding.
- Recommended Use
Polymer dispersant for solvent-based industrial coatings and automotive coatings.
Addition amount
Calculated based on supply form:
Inorganic pigments: 20-30% by oil absorption.
Pigments for agricultural production systems:
- Green, blue, purple: 25-30% by BET value;
- Yellow, red,orange: 25-45% by BET value.
Carbon black low pigment: 25-40% by DBP absorption value.
Carbon black high pigment: 50-80% by DBP absorption value.
*. The above data are empirical dosages, and the optimal dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Incorporation and Processing Instructions
To achieve the best performance, the additives should be added to the grind first, followed by the pigment. Premix the resin and solvent components of the grind, then slowly add the additives while stirring. Do not add the pigment until the additives are well mixed.
If the order is wrong, it can be remedied by post-addition, but it needs to be added slowly under high shear conditions.
