*.The values indicated in this data sheet describe typical properties and do not constitute specification limits.
- Applications
Special Features and Benefits
- Improve wetting properties, reduce grinding time and viscosity of abrasives, and improve storage stability.
- Increase the gloss, color intensity, transparency and hiding power of ink.
- For various gravure packaging inks\UV offset ink systems, dispersing carbon black and organic pigments has very good color development and viscosity reduction effects.
- Recommended Use
Solvent-based industrial coatings, solvent-based gravure inks, UV offset inks.
Addition amount
Calculated based on supply form:
Inorganic pigments 4-8%
Organic pigments 8-12%
Carbon black 10-20%
*. The above data are empirical dosages(calculated according to the supply form), and the optimal dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Incorporation and Processing Instructions
To achieve the best performance, the additives should be added to the grind first, followed by the pigment. Premix the resin and solvent components of the grind, then slowly add the additives while stirring. Do not add the pigment until the additives are well mixed.
If the order is wrong, it can be remedied by post-addition, but it needs to be added slowly under high shear conditions.
