- HH-2016D Solvent-based dispersant
It is a wetting and dispersing aid for solvent-based coatings, used to disperse organic pigments, inorganic pigments and carbon black in organic solvent media. It can improve pigment wettability, reduce the time required for the grinding process and stabilize pigment dispersions.
It deflocculates the pigment through the steric hindrance of the polyacrylate chain and prevents pigment flocculation and precipitation during storage. Since the deflocculated pigment particles are very small, high gloss and enhanced color strength can be obtained.
ເພີ່ມເຕີມ, transparency and hiding power are increased. These products can reduce the viscosity of the system, thereby improving the leveling of the product and increasing the pigment content.

- Applications
Special Features and Benefits
1、Improves the wettability of the pigment, reduces the time required for the grinding process, improves the gloss and leveling, reduces the viscosity and avoids thixotropy.
2、Prevents the re-flocculation of the pigment through the steric stabilization of the polyacrylate chain in the block polymer, so that the tinting power and hue of the pigment in the coating and pigment paste can be stabilized, preventing the flocculation and precipitation of the pigment during storage, and keeping the pigments and fillers in the system evenly dispersed.
3、Since the dispersant has a high molecular weight and similar properties to the resin, it will not affect the durability of the coating base material.

- Recommended Use
Used in industrial printing coatings, architectural coatings, coil coatings, automotive coatings, wood and furniture coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, pigment concentrates and other systems.
Addition amount
Recommended Levels:
Organic pigments: 10~20
Titanium dioxide: 2-5
Carbon black: 20~30
Inorganic pigments: 2-10
*.Please do a step experiment for the specific amount of addition, the above dosage depends largely on the particle size and specific surface area of the pigment.
Instructions for use
To achieve the best performance, the additives should be added to the grind first, followed by the pigment. Premix the resin and solvent components of the grind, then slowly add the additives while stirring. Do not add the pigment until the additives are well mixed.
