• HH2170D Dispersant

It is a highly effective additive specially used for non-polar binders. It has a two-component structure of pigment affinity and solvent affinity. It can effectively improve the wettability and dispersibility of pigments when mixed in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solutions,thereby producing a stable, high-concentration pigment dispersion with good rheological properties.

It is a high molecular weight acrylic copolymer.

Typical Properties：

Appearance: brown viscous liquid at 50°C, waxy below 10°C

Acid Value: 16-21 KOHmg/g

Color: Gardner color ≤14

Solubility: soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, insoluble in alcohol and water

• Applications

• Recommended Use

Surface treatment of aluminum silver paste, offset printing ink, news gravure toluene ink, various oily paints, oily color pastes and pigments.

• Addition amount

Generally, it is 3%~5% of the amount of pigment

• Instructions for use

In order to obtain the best performance, the additives should be added to the grinding material first, and then the pigments. Premix the resin and solvent components of the grinding material, and then slowly add the additives under constant stirring. Do not add the pigment before the additives are mixed evenly.
